The fourth season premiere of Ted Lasso was, in fact, highly anticipated, based on Nielsen’s streaming ratings data.

The series’ return, three-plus years after its last episode, set a premiere window viewing record for Apple TV. Based on early data from Nielsen, Ted Lasso drew 296.6 million minutes of viewing time on Aug. 4 and 5. About 200 million of those minutes came on Aug. 5, making Ted Lasso the No. 1 streaming series in the United States that day.

After 10 hours, Nintendo’s new Fire Emblem is somehow even better than Three Houses

Fire Emblem Awakening saved Nintendo's strategy game series 14 years ago, but it also laid a curse on it. Since then, no Fire Emblem has managed to pull off a good story and good combat. Awakening had bland maps and a good story. One branch of 2015's Fates had excellent maps, but they all had terrible stories (and one lets you marry your sister, but let's not talk about that). The pattern repeated with 2019's Three Houses and 2023's Engage. But after playing 10 hours of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, it looks like Intelligent Systems might've figured out how to break the curse and make a Fire Emblem with all the good parts and none of the old problems.
