Starz Unveils First Looks at Young Ghost and Young Tommy in ‘Power: Origins’

Get a load of Starz‘s newest pair of young guns, (young) Ghost (Spence Moore) and (young) Tommy Egan (Charlie Mann) in Power: Origins.

Oh Thursday, Starz released what is is calling an “early teaser” as well as first-look images for the latest Power prequel series, which also sees the return of MeKai Curtis as (young) Kanan. (Power: Origins is the direct sequel series to Power Book III: Raising Kanan. Sascha Penn, who created and ran the writers room on Raising Kanan, will also showrun Power: Origins.)

Timothy Busfield, the Emmy-winning actor best known for his roles on The West Wing, Thirtysomething, and Revenge of the Nerds, told an Albuquerque, New Mexico, grand jury that he can no longer find work because he’s supposedly been “canceled” after being indicted on child sex offenses. USA Today, which obtained the actor’s testimony, reports that he maintained his innocence when making his remarks over the course of two hours.

England 1966 World Cup winner Nobby Stiles died with a brain condition caused by repeatedly heading a football, a coroner has ruled.

Stiles, a former Manchester United midfielder, died almost six years ago aged 78 with severe dementia and had headed a football around 140,000 times during his career, Stockport Coroner's Court heard at the inquest into his death.

For one week, “Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender” will screen in select movie theaters in Los Angeles and New York, Variety has learned exclusively.

While the film is primarily a streaming release and will have its Paramount+ debut on July 25, it has also been set for an awards-qualifying theatrical run from July 24 to 30, with three showtimes per day at the AMC Burbank Town Center 6 in L.A. and the AMC Empire 25 in Manhattan.
