Shortly after he turned up to the Eras Tour with a friendship bracelet and a dream, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift.
Kelce, 36, laid the groundwork in the summer of 2023. He made his feelings known for Swift, 36, after she performed on his team's home turf in Missouri. Soon, all the dominoes cascaded in a line: Swift began attending NFL games, openly cheering for the Chiefs, and stepping out with Kelce for date nights in New York City.
Everyone wants to buy the dip, until the dip arrives. Case in point: Rivian.
Over the weekend, I wrote an article highlighting the new Rivian R2 — a mid-sized ESUV (electric sports utility vehicle…did I just make up that acronym?) that I believe is poised to upend the sweet spot of the U.S. auto market. Perhaps you read the article, or perhaps you saw one of a couple of videos where I discussed the car, the company and the "Holly Index" - my wife ordered one, one of her colleagues ordered one, even my mother is thinking about ordering one.

Ants, like these clonal raider ants tending to their larvae, are highly attuned to their young. A new study shows that two neuropeptides in the ant brain modulate how ants respond to larvae, thereby determining the behavioral roles ants assume in the colony. Credit: Bart Zijlstra, UNIL
Long before the dawn of modern parenting, animals laid eggs and moved on, leaving their progeny to fend for themselves.
