“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is continuing its unparalleled box office run, scoring another $145 million domestically during its second weekend in theaters.
Just to put those stratospheric ticket sales in context, only one movie this year — “Toy Story 5” — earned around that much in its opening weekend, with Disney’s Pixar adventure debuting to $159 million. “Brand New Day” scored the third-biggest second weekend of all time, trailing just 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with $149 million and 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame” with $147 million. Only eight movies have ever surpassed $100 million in their sophomore outings.

It's a far cry from the Outbacks and Foresters of today, but Subaru got its start in the U.S. with the two-door 360 microcar and this related Sambar van.
A rear-mounted 356cc, two-stroke, two-cylinder engine provides 25 horsepower.
While most Japanese kei cars are right-hand-drive Japan-market imports, this Sambar is a rare exception.
Subaru first arrived in the U.S. in 1968 thanks to serial entrepreneur Malcom Bricklin, who imported the oddball 360 sedan for its fuel-sipping thrift and ability to duck import regulations. However, Subaru also made the 360 in a van form, the Sambar, and some of those were brought over as well.
Italy’s foreign minister has called Spain’s decision to impose retaliatory checks on travellers from Italy “incomprehensible and completely unacceptable” as people making their way between the two EU countries were left grappling with the effects of the escalating feud.

I've been an Android user my entire life, starting out with a Samsung Galaxy Ace, then sticking mostly with OnePlus phones thanks to their excellent value for money. I finally made the big switch to iOS with the iPhone 15 Pro Max — driving it through three iterations of the OS before jumping back to Android with the OnePlus 15. As premium as the iPhone experience was, there are things that Android just handled better for me, so I assumed the switch back would feel like coming home. It did in many ways, but I can now see why there's friction when moving between the two platforms.
