PlayStation has announced a new collaboration with the rapper, singer, and actress Lisa.

The collaboration will include a limited edition DualSense controller with an MSRP of $84.99 alongside a spread of additional merch that will be released in “two unique assortments.” The collection will go up for preorder in the U.S. on October 2 ahead of its full launch on October 30. The reveal also includes a new promotional video featuring, as you’d expect, Lisa herself.

The limited-edition controller has a relatively simple design with a soft grey color scheme. The main graphic is an artistic rendition of Lisa’s mascara-clad eyes, colored blue, with the iconic quartet of PlayStation buttons looped into her makeup look. The controller also features an "LL" logo on one side and Lisa’s signature on the back.

Additional items in the collection will include totes, sweaters, hats, and even stickers, making up a merch drop that extends beyond the usual PlayStation release and aligns a little bit more with what you’d expect from the K-pop star.

While the DualSense will initially only be available to preorder directly through PlayStation, additional items will be available through Lisa’s Amazon storefront.

No gaming company has been shy about collaborations, and limited-edition controllers have been a particular hit for both Xbox and PlayStation. Typically, though, these controllers are tied to a first-party game under either company’s banner, like PlayStation’s recent Wolverine line and Xbox’s Gears of War: E-Day controller. Collaborations with specific celebrities are more rare, with previous examples being limited to a Lebron James controller released back in 2023.

The PlayStation collaboration’s release will coincide with the release of Lisa’s next EP, Press Play, on October 23. Lisa, who is from Thailand, first entered the spotlight as the main rapper of Blackpink, a four-piece girl group under YG Entertainment. She has since grown into her own solo career with full albums like Rockstar, as well as acting roles like in HBO’s White Lotus.

Lisa is also no stranger to gaming collaborations, having recently headlined an entire Fortnite Festival season. Speaking on the new PlayStation collab, the artist highlighted that “Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax,” expressing that this collection “gave me a new way to be creative and show a different side of myself.”

PlayStation, in the meantime, continues to catch heat for its decision to cut production of physical discs. The company also recently saw a major shake-up with Hideo Kojima's decision to move development of his next espionage game, Physint, to Xbox.
