This Special Lamborghini Urus SE Celebrates the Halo Video Game and Looks Ready for Battle
- Xbox and Lamborghini have created a Halo-inspired one-off, the Urus SE Master Chief 117 Edition, to celebrate the release of Halo: Campaign Evolved.
- A limited number of 1:18-scale models are being given away through a sweepstakes on Xbox's official X account.
- Players will also be able to redeem the special-edition livery in Forza Horizon 6 starting July 30.
For the past decade or so, Microsoft has shown that it is willing to cut just about any corner it can when it comes to actual investment in game development for its storied franchise, Halo. As a lifelong Halo fan, I’m tired, boss. Tomorrow marks the release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, a (mostly) faithful recreation of the 2001 original, Halo: Combat Evolved, and Xbox is celebrating by collaborating with, you guessed it, Lamborghini.

The collab is called the Lamborghini Urus SE Master Chief 117 Edition, a one-off version of Lambo's super SUV wrapped in the iconic green of Master Chief’s MJOLNIR Assault Armor. You’ll find ‘117’ marked on the driver and front passenger doors, as well as on the rear tailgate, where the logo for the game's UNSC Marine Corps is also emblazoned. Perhaps the coolest part of this Urus SE is the yellow-tinted headlights and windows to match Chief’s visor, making the Urus’ DRLs yellow as well. Sweet.
While you can’t buy an Urus SE Master Chief 117 Edition from Lamborghini dealerships, you will be able to get your hands on the special edition Urus in two alternate forms. The most enticing option for the Halo faithful is by entering a sweepstakes to win a 1:18-scale version of the car. Xbox has said it is creating “a limited number” of replicas, and to win one, you must be following Xbox on X and repost the official sweepstakes post with the hashtag #MasterChief117Sweepstakes.

If you end up not being one of the few selected to receive the 1:18-scale Urus SE, there is a third way of getting your hands on this special edition livery. Beginning July 30, players can simply log in to Forza Horizon 6 and open the in-game message center, where there should be an option to redeem the livery. It may not be as cool as having an actual Urus in your driveway, but for diehard fans of the Halo videogame series, it'll be the next best thing.
