Bitcoin was on track for a weekly gain of around 23% Friday, following a spate of positive developments for the world's largest cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin was last seen at $77,226.96, up from $62,836.88 at the start of the week. Crypto-linked stocks rose, with Coinbase and Circle advancing more than 5%. Strategy advanced 9%. The ProShares bitcoin strategy ETF (BITO) was up 6.8% in premarket trading.
