The transformation of Cadillac is now complete. The GM luxury brand was once known for staid and vanilla chariots preferred almost exclusively by octogenarians in Boca Raton. For over 25 years the American automaker has been reinventing itself to not only compete with its German rivals, but best them in terms of speed, luxury, and design on the street and in competition at the race track. Not everything has gone swimmingly for Cadillac over the last two and a half decades, but it has certainly shucked its retiree image in favor of a more exciting heart-pounding future. The new V-One concept, essentially a customer-focused version of its race-winning prototype race car, is the final nail in the coffin of boring Caddy. 

PC gaming has always been an expensive hobby, but the memory supply crisis has driven up costs even more. It's not just RAM and SSDs seeing spiking prices either, with plenty of other components becoming increasingly costly. The fact that picking up an entire prebuilt gaming PC has been the most cost-effective way to secure a decent amount of memory for months now is just one sign of the times.

There are few things Aston Martin loves more than a big, powerful, limited-run supercar with a name that starts with the letter "V," so it shouldn't be a surprise to anybody that it just turned up to Monterey Car Week with exactly that. It's called the Aston Martin Valen, and it's the latest V12 concoction put together by Aston Martin's in-house bespoke Skunk Works service, Q.

This is a spoiler-free review of the first episode of Lanterns Season 1. The series debuts on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, August 16.

It’s safe to say that a lot is riding on the first season of Lanterns. This is one of the first key pieces of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU that isn’t directly steered by Gunn himself. We’ve seen enough by now to know that Gunn himself has a solid handle on the DC brand. Creature Commandos, Superman, and Peacemaker have all been enjoyable. But can this fledgling cinematic universe thrive when he hands the reins over to other creators? Supergirl certainly calls that into question, casting doubt on Gunn’s lofty claims about strong scripts and clear artistic visions being the driving force of this line. The DCU needs a win right about now, and I’m happy to say that Lanterns is ready and able to deliver in its first episode.

The X-Files franchise is suddenly heating up again in 2026. Fresh off the release of The X-Files: I Want to Believe - Vrach Frankensteyn and LEGO's very first X-Files set comes the news that Dynamite Entertainment will publish a new X-Files comic starting this winter.
