Polish developer Rebel Wolves has worn a confident face since it first revealed The Blood of Dawnwalker early last year. The blood-soaked reveal trailer featured a gorgeously grisly cutscene, an unmistakably Slavic score, and a snapshot of a sprawling medieval open world. Crafted by many of the minds behind The Witcher 3, including its director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, everything we’ve seen since has effectively proclaimed that this new vampire RPG intends to fight in the same league as CD Projekt Red’s best.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Launch Sales Likely to Blow Assassin's Creed Shadows Out the Water, Analyst Claims

Launch sales projections for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Black Flag remake look like a huge improvement on Assassin's Creed Shadows, the franchise's most recent release.

Steam pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced are 5.39 times higher than those for Shadows, according to industry analyst Rhys Elliot of Alinea Analytics. Remarkably, this means Resynced has already beaten the lifetime sales of Skull & Bones, Ubisoft's costly, long-in-development pirate spinoff from Black Flag that eventually emerged in 2024.
